Hey! My names Alexis, I love photography and that is the main reason I am in graphic design. I love having photo-shoots with my friends. All of my siblings work at graphic design companies and all love photography, so I grew up around photography and them taking pictures. From the time I could walk and talk they put a camera in my hand and told me to take pictures. They all have very nice Nikon cameras but my dad also had a lot of polaroid cameras so when i was growing up i took most pictures with a polaroid camera. I am hoping to discover how to edit photos really well on the computer and know how to control specific setting on my camera. My favorite subject to photograph is portraits. One of the most memorable and one of my favorite photos that I have ever taken is a photo I took in San Francisco, it is a picture of my friend with the fog behind her and the golden gate bridge peeking out behind her. I love this photo because there is a lot of different thing going on in the photo yet it draws your attention to my friend because I use the rule of thirds. I am very excited to learn a lot about cameras, techniques, and photography in general.
